Hello and welcome back. Still sticking with our basics and its always good to revisit basics. Today we are looking at Decoupage. Now I will be truthful with you, it really isn't something I enjoy, I do think its a little old fashioned and can be a little fussy for my taste, however it has its place in card making and many people love it. What I will say for it is you can get so many different sheets. Great if you want to make a car card or an animal. So lets look at what you can get. You have two options Pre cut or cut your own!. I would probably cry if I had to cut my own, cutting for me is a nightmare, yet I know some of you love to cut. You even find it therapeutic. Bellow is an example of a sheet you would have to cut, I was given this and I don't seam to be able to find a price for this. I have seen some in craft shops This one is from a company called FGS Designs if that is any help. Next to it you will see a forever friends pre cut set with sentiments as well. Do Crafts have a massive selection starting from a £1, you can usually get at least two cards from a sheet. I am using up a papermania floral sheet. Start by poping all the images out, take a note that they are numbered to help you to layer them up. Then add your foam pads and layer up. Hopefully the pictures help you to see. Now you don't have to use all the pieces its up to you.
I added a papermania notelet, a thinking of you sentiment and then some tiny little pearls. Its a bit basic but my thoughts are as a sympathy card you don't want to much fuss, but it could easily be a get well soon card. I hope this has introduced you to decoupage or reminded you of its uses. Take care and check back soon. xxxx
