Hello how are you?, I've just got back from a lovely holiday at the seaside so my blogs been neglected this week. Plus my month of no craft spending is over thank goodness!. Actually it wàs surprisingly easier than I had thought. Plus it made me tidy what I already had and use some of my supplies. But I'll be honest a few days of not crafting (I didn't even take any Crochet with me) I am itching to get back into it. Let's start with Junes edition of Card making & Papercraft. Now it's been ages since I've purchased this magazine as usually the dies don't interest me but this month's has an edge die and I have never used one before. I won't review this magazine as the next issue is due out on the 9th June ( the free gifts look fab). I will have a play next week and see what I can do with it. I have to bring your attention to the new Stampin up catalogue that has just come out, wow is it full of lovely items, infact I am a little over whelmed with it I don't really know what I want, I kinda want everything!. Find your nearest demonstrator and get a copy in your hands. Now despite a weeks worth of washing for a family of 5 and a birthday party I couldn't help start a new project. Yep I picked up 3 balls of wool in a pound shop for just £2!. These colours just jumped out at me. I didn't even have a plan for them. Now I'm not keen on granny squares, well I like them but I've had a few unravel on me so I'm always a little reluctant to use them but I found a pattern in an old Magazine for a tea cosy. Oddly I ended up jjust doing my own thing. RThis is basically 4 squares joined with a few lines on top.
Its basic but I figure with so much wool left it cost about a pound. It's a little wonky looking but part if the fun is just trying. Remember each project you learn new things, never be afraid to try. Thanks for reading. Enjoy your Sunday. Xxxx
