Well as you can see I have been working hard on my wreath and I love the colours I've chosen so far. To be honest I had planned on using a much smaller wreath base which would have been much quicker but never mind. I always join my ends when I have desired length. Then using each colour i join it up. I know it's quicker to use one colour and cut all my ends but I think it looks better. I'm really pleased with it so far. See what I mean about the back. Now let's be honest I'm a massive Attic 24 fan and her winter wreath is my favourite of all her projects. Do take a look at her page. It's taken me a while to work out what to do with this wreath. Just like the bleak of winter I didn't want to overload this wreath. My vision of winter is frosty cold mornings with sparkly cob webs covered in icicles. So I added my version of a spiders web in white a random pattern from my head!. Then in the craft shop I found these red wired berries. I crochet around some brown pipe cleaners and added the berries. This lovely little snowman yes I made the snowman I'm pretty pleased with him. Lastly I added the sequins these are called snow white they have a pink glow to them. So it's finally finished and I love it.
Although I've also nearly finished my Christmas crochet wreath and all of a sudden my winter wreath looks a little to much like a Christmas wreath. Perhaps I may need to make another? Anyway I hope you like it. I hope this has inspired you to make a winter wreath. I know that some of you love the idea of making a wreath but don't know how to Crochet or have a desire to learn so keep an eye out as I will be sharing with you soon a Christmas wreath tutorial using a mixed media's but no Crochet!. Thank you for reading have a lovely week. Xxxx
